I just picked these up and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a realistic retail value on the lot. I could not find any consecutive # $2 notes this old that sold on ebay

Could you give us a sense of the grades, please. They look pretty nice, with one apparent crease to the right of Jefferson. Do they all have this? Any other apparent folds or damage?

I have no idea how to grade notes and this is the only pic I can get for now. I know 3 are basically unc and clean and 2 have a crease but are still crisp with no other wrinkles. The 2 that are creased are also off color a bit. I know a nice note like this by itself could go for anywhere from 5-15 but I was looking to find out how much the consecutive #s add on older notes like this.

I would agree around $10-15 apiece. The consecutive numbers are not going to matter on circulated notes.

Those look to be crisp except for the darn folds.

One wonders how the "bookend" two got a crease when the middle 3 did not...

I sold some modern consecutive number notes a while back and got 2X face. I have a hard time believing that on old notes like these there would not be a nice premium attached.

Your best bet would be to take them to your LCS and get a professional opinion.
