I have just found this coin and all I know about it is that it is copper and maybe Persian. I appreciate any help from experts.

Persian would be my guess too.
Looks like a Dirham coin from Kaykhusraw II
1237 - 1246

Just a guess, but I think it's a good line to follow.

The lion looks left and the typeface of the writing is not from that period
A dirham would be silver

This is a Persian local civic issue in copper - likely from Iravan or Mashhad
