I ordered a Brick of 2 Dollar Bills from my Bank and got them in today. Was hoping for them to be circulated but was not that lucky. All brand new. So started loking through them to see if there were any Stars. Found one that replaced # F05972700A. These are 2013 bills but the star note is a 2009. Would have thought the Star note would have been a 2013 also.

Interesting find and thanks. I would have expected a star from the same series as well. Will look into this.

By the way, I think the term you want is "pack", not "brick", which is something much different!

New York is the key for the 2009 $2 series. Nice!

I thought the word "strap" referred to the band around the "pack" of 100 notes.

Here is the correct terminology.

Strap = 100 notes
Bundle = 1,000 notes
Brick = 4,000 note
Cash Pak = 16,000 notes

2k in 2's would be considered a bundle.

Nice! On $1 bills, this is not possible due to the LEPE incident.
