Can anyone give me more information on this Chinese Gold Waffer. I believe that it is gold and some kind of religious or good luck charm.

It is the size of a credit card.

The image is the Bodhisattva Ksitigarbha.

The Chinese inscription translates as "Trust in the Bodhisattva King Earth-Matrix of the Great Vow".

In his right hand is the "Ringed Staff". In his left hand is the "Wish Full-filling Jewel".

The card is the "Guarantee" but the information is not filled out.

The Lucoral Company produced the product which they "guarantee" has a gold purity of "9999".

I'm not able to identify the reverse side because I cannot read the script. It may be a very cursive Chinese script or even the script of another country.

However, the red case mentions the "Twelve Zodiac Animals" so the reverse side probably displays the name of one of these animals written in several different ways. If that is the case, then this gold piece would be one in a set of twelve.

I am under the impression that the foreign script is Tibetan origin.
