Coinfrog, Yes for now I am keeping them. No real reason to leave the money in a bank. Banks don't pay interest worth keeping the money there. So its just another way of saving. Who knows someone just might want them one day. If I ever need $1000 I have it on hand. *** Political Baiting Removed by the Staff ***

Today I received a 2013 $1 star note.

It is from a full run of 3,200,000 so it will be spent.

Welcome to CCF @Vdubb.

The two circulated $20 star notes you've mentioned are worth face value only. Trinary means absolutely nothing to currency collectors, except maybe on planet ebay.

This is my 1977 Beetle (EFI)

I get a little weak in the knees when I see a serial #12 note, so imagine how stoked I was to find a serial #12 on a $100 replacement note. This note was courtesy of Billy at USA Rare.

That number 12 Star $100 is super cool! I have a number 1 and a number 3 in Irish Star notes. Both due to luck. Very tough to get low numbered star notes.
