Here's a $50 I got from circulation. At VF, it's still worth $50, but nice to get it in my 'change'.

Yes! I was industrially going through bundles of $2 bills at the time (getting them from the banks and playing the 'tourist card' so they didn't label me a wierdo) looking for star notes and a 2 note from each district, and I got this in an IHOP!

This pair arrived today. A pair of 1957B $1 Silver Certificate replacement notes with bright paper, even margins and great eye appeal. I was a little surprised to find out I didn't have an example of these. I fixed that.

Nice sequential pair :)

Here is a 1985 $1 star, AU, cost me $9 in 2009 in a show in Portland, OR.

Perhaps, this is a bit off-topic...

The BEP just published the monthly production reports for Oct, Nov and Dec 2021. Is a run of 1,280,000 $2 star notes (Nov. 2021) considered a low, medium or high number?

Two of the print runs (November & December) were small runs of replacement sheets. November had a small run of 5,000 sheets of 2017A $2 San Francisco replacement notes (160,000 notes) and a larger run of 1,280,000 replacement notes. December had a ultra-small run of 1,000 sheets (32,000) 2017A $2 New York replacement notes. I consider two of the three recently printed $2 star note runs were small.

Today I received a 2017 $1 star.

It is from a full run of 3,200,000 so it will be spent.

I have no idea where the $2 notes, whether stars or not, are circulated?

I did find a series 1957 silver certificate star note in circulation less than two years ago.
