we need pics as frog says. At least give us series as well as a general indication of condition if you can't post pics.

In response to TherodFather, if your bill was a 2013 its print run size was 500,000 which is relatively low.

Picked this up recently, a 1934 Atlanta star in mid-VF condition with no problems.

You wouldn't think this would be that tough, but apparently it is.

Nice. Are you going to leave it as is or send it for grading?

Got this one in change yesterday. I don't see many regular 1999's anymore.

CK - I have a bunch of raw series 1928/1934 stars in different denominations in this sort of mid-grade condition. I have never thought seriously about grading them - they are certainly at the bottom of a long list!

Awesome additions everybody, keep 'em coming.

After searching for over nine months for a series 2013 $1 Kansas City Star note, a member over at a different forum PM'ed me and said he got one in change and wanted to sell it. He was asking $150 for a circulated example.

OMG....$150 for a circulated example of a modern $1 Star note. What in the world is going on ?

I search ebay every day and have asked at least a dozen dealers to try and find me an uncirculated example with no luck at all. I checked out ebay about a week back and a CU example sold for $300, so I messaged the seller and asked if he had another. He messaged back right away and said yes and he was just about to list it. I waited an hour and just as he had said, it was listed with a starting bid of $300 and a "Buy it Now" price of $600......just as I was going to place the minimum bid, it sold.....it sold for $600. I can't believe my eyes and think I've been transported to Bizzaro World in an unknown universe.

So I PM'ed my friend at the other forum and offered $100, and now it's mine.
This will be a hole filler until I can find an uncirculated example

CK - Yes, that $5 1954 star is an LGS.

Stever - I cannot grasp the world you modern star collectors operate in.
