I have a friend who picked up this token in Australia 20 some years ago. He is trying to find information about it and what it is worth. It seems to be made out of aluminum. Thanks!

I haven't been able to find anything searching Google.
I don't own any reference books on lumber tokens. I have found a couple of those books for sale online, give me a few days and I'll purchase a copy. If there's any information on this token, I'll be happy to share.

Picc I haven't forgotten this post. I've placed my order for a book yesterday and put the payment in the mail. I'm thinking it may take 7 to 10 days--hopefully less though.

I hope you guys don't mind my listening in. I'm not a token collector, but I'm interested in Florida history. I grew up in Polk County Fl (one county over from Tampa). There was a Florida Tie and Timber Co in Duval County (Jacksonville area) in 1920 or so. I wonder if this is the same outfit?

Nothing to contribute, just a token collector wanting to see how it plays out.

MeadowviewCollector - Yeah, I still haven't found anything else on it, looking forward to see what your book says. Thanks Again!
Brian Mc - I'll look into the company in Duval County you mentioned. Thanks

Good news the book arrived and this token was listed.
It is aluminum, round, 20 mm and R10 on the NSCA rarity scale meaning 1 to 4 known; an R10 token was valued at $100+.
The 2nd edition of Trantow's book was published in 1998. Its rarity and values may have changed since then.

Thank you for the help and information. I'll keep looking for a current price too. I'll keep you updated if I find anything.
