I believe this one is a copy of a Greek tetradrachm the coin should be in silver. Others will probably know better. m

This appears to be a cast...of a cast...of a cast...of a cast of a Syracusian Dekadrachm.

Heres what the real deal looks like:

That one is 36mm, but casting often reduced the size of things, what dimensions is this one? Might even be able to tell what generation the cast is.

Wow. That figures. The origional is a beauty! Ill have to measure it when I'm home. That's cool you may be able to tell the v age orv amount of times it was cast. Now where to store it. With the Romans or the counterfeits?

Ok. Id love to know what generation this cast is. So I finally found some time to measure... She is about 32mm. How much does it reduce each time its cast?
Next question, do I put it in the counterfiet section? I guess that's best so when my kids get my coins they know what they have.
