Purchased a silver schützenfest glarus 1892 from a reputable dealer and from my inexperience I feel is a copy. The die has glaring differences from what I could reference and the weight was off 0.6 grams. This was an ebay purchase and from our back and forth discussion he seemed to have had enough and just told me to return it if I thought it was a copy. His explanation was that there were no known fakes or copies of these coins and different dies were possibly used he failed to address the weight issue and I was hoping to get some feedback here on the issue... thanks in advance.

I'm going to ask a mod to move this thread so it gets the proper attention.

I don't know anything about this coin so I'll just say .

An expert will be along ....

and I am not an expert in this coin but I suggest that you return it since you are clearly unhappy with it. I think it's unlikely that an expert could eliminate all your apprehensions.

Looks good to me. I highly doubt it's a copy.

Nothring wrong with that one.

I can not doubt it´s authenticity from the photograph.

The weight difference is common with medals.
