So I have a number of Canadian coins I am thinking of parting with. Was just wondering the best way to sell them on here? Groups? Individual coins? Most are proof-like and the rest are BU business strikes. Some are even still in the plio film.

Are they silver?
If yes sell them individually, if not sell them in groups as the cost of postage would eat up a large chunk.

I think I'm keeping the silver, not much of that anyways but a few quarters. The bulk of my coins came from uncirculated sets.

Honestly I wouldn't even know what to charge. All my books are outdated.

for what (little) you will get for them I don't think it's worth the trouble.

Agree with wade, I tried selling these in $10 groups, all different coins, maybe 15% profit after ebay fees, not worth the risk for $1.50. If you have other means of selling it might be good, maybe a buy it now will sell eventually, but for the most part, I think most of them are FV.

If you sold them individually on ebay, there is probably a decent margin, but will be time consuming.

For pre 1990 PL sets, I often find them in the $3-4 range.

Wanna trade the 2011 Loonie for something. I like the double maple leaf. Maybe for some silver?

I think this thread is done. I suggest using the Buy/Sell/Trade forum, to move this forward.
