Is the colour because of the flip or something else? I've recently seen similar colouring on MS-64 and MS-65 small cents in flips.

Its from a reputable dealer so I thought maybe the photos were off.

Pictures can play with color tone but I'm not sure I'd call this "red". More RB to me. Either way, the market is tough and discriminating these days. Even some key year coins have fallen well below 50% trends at retail.
