Ok. So I like this one because the face reminds me of Zues. The corrosion on the reverse is a shame though. And I assume the hole shouldn't be there? I'm guessing there is no cure for the corrossion? I'm not sure if that's a Dragon on the reverse or what.
Let me know what ya may know. Thanks again!

Actually it is Zeus, The coin is of one of the Ptolemies rulers of Egypt after the death of Alexander the Great. The coin is pretty corroded so I can't make an ID. This coins range in size from 48mm to 15mm. What is the size and weight of this one.

Bob: The usual go-to location for i.d.'ing Ptolemaic bronzes is the aptly named ptolemybronze.com. Their coin gallery is at: http://www.megagem.com/ancient/ptolemy_series.html

However, as Ron says, with the corrosion and pitting on your coin, pinning it down (beyond "Ptolemaic Egypt") might be impossible.

The hole: actually, yes, it should be there. That's called a "centration dimple" and is evident on most coins of that series. It resulted from some part of the production process.

Not a dragon on the reverse: rather, an eagle.
