Thoughts on this? The scratches are really brought out by the camera. Looks better in hand. This is one coin I would love to crack and hold!

Obverse is stronger than reverse. VF20 details, maybe a bit better, tend to be low on these.

Nice coin!
I am at F15 details. Reverse will usually be weaker than obverse, but appears more so on this example. Surface quality difficult to judge from the photo, but appears nice and even on the obverse, a little less on on the reverse. (Overall I would assign a grade of VG 8-10 EAC depending on the reverse surface).

By the away, you have a Sheldon S-60 variety, which has a rarity rating of 3, meaning it is moderately scarce with about 200 to 600 examples known in all grades.

I was looking for grade opinions and thoughts on the coin. Shame? I don't think so. Its a great coin. It is graded VF-20 details S-60 by NGC.
