Look at the pictures on this page: http://www.lincolncentsonline.com/1...0Photos.html There is a secondary mint mark to the North on the 001 and yours doesn't show that or anything else that I can see. I have noticed on some cents, the light can play tricks with your eyes and make things look doubled that aren't. The devices are made wider at the base and narrow as they rise away from the coin's surface. Sometimes when the light reflects just right, this wider base can resemble doubling. It's like whoever punched the MM did it a little off perpendicular and it made it past polishing. A while back I went through an OBW roll of 60-D and I saw a couple of these. I thought of them as UEMM or Un-Even Mint Mark. [although I Really tried to see a RPM in them] Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/02/2015 10:22 am The 1960-D WDDO-001 is the strongest one: You maybe looking too hard for something that is not there? When you find a variety, they should jump right out at you. Your coin is a small date cent. The WRPM-001 is a large date. All of the small dates have that mark on the inside of the 6 loop.
