Send it to NCS to get it concerved and certified by NGC. Depending on how well the conservation goes, $20,000 to $40,000 ar auction is not unreasonable.

To CCF. That coin you found metal detecting is what makes people want to go out and purchase a coin detector. What I like about that coin is It's not overly damaged. Great find .

Wow, this beats the 1901s find from last year for sure... I see a top line MineLab detector upgrade in your future If you're wanting to sell it contact heritage auctions @ http://www.HA.com and they will do everything for you to achieve the highest price possible

Wow what a score.....pcgs has it at a population of about 50 known. I would definitely get ncs to conserve it and get it graded asap. Could fetch 20k to 40k

You found it 2 weeks ago and sent it in to PCGS and got it back already? I guess they did not slab the coin since you took photo's of the raw coin to post in this topic. Did PCGS send you any paperwork?

I can admit when I'm wrong. Thanks for posting pics of the slab. I wasn't the only one who thought the coin was still raw. You must have used the fast track grading program at PCGS to get it back so fast. Est. 50 known, says PCGS.....now it's 51 Amazing find, do you plan on selling it? BTW there are some really nice photos of it on the PCGS site. Does anyone think the OP got jobbed by the PCGS Genuine not gradeable XF details grade? I don't know enough about these things.
