Zaggy,
Finding a rim Cud on a 20 cent is pretty good. They are a fairly scarce commodity. I've only ever found 1, and that was a few weeks ago.

Oh? cool... well, I have two then! The BIG one on the 2005 Rev (that I posted pics of) and the 2000 Obv with the LONG THIN Cud.... Cool... Tho I'd swap them in a second for a Wavvy '66!

You'd need at least 100 of those 20ข rim Cuds before I even contemplated swapping them for a wavy. But..nobody's getting my wavy baby.

Wavy's are bringing way over $200 at present, the better the condition, the higher the price.

Ahhh.... nancy I don't wanna do this, but now I'll have to fly over to Queensland and take your Wavy away from you.... Lets see, I'll pay 300 for the ticket and gain 200.... on second thought, maybe not...

Another $100/20c today, no Wavvy's...

1995 UN - 1
2001 Bradman - 1
2001 CoF SA - 1
2001 CoF WA - 1
2001 CoF Vic - 1
2001 CoF Tas - 2
2003 Volunteer - 3
2005 Coming Home - 15 (kept 5)

Also kept a good condition 1973 1978 and 1998.

And looking my storage today, I have 40x 2005 Coming Home 20c's and an equal number of 2007 UNC! Time to cull these back, and maybe Roll the 2007's for storage...

Well honestly, the the main problem that will stop me finishing Uni, is boredom! I only do a 75% load admittedly (Long story, got smashed up, lots of bad back stuff..), but it is hard to stay focused. Walked out of last year with HD's with no real effort! I'm kinda hoping this year is more challenging and enjoyable (found last year so spirit chrushing, so I decided to research and write a book! hahahaha). Still, I'm guessing Pharm. is probably a bit more challenging than what I'm doing (Im doing CompSci and looking to jump into a combined degree CompSci/BEng(Software)) considering my background in IT and software development.

But yes, I do try and do a lot of Noodling... In fact I'm off to get $100/50c coins to noodle thru again! Maybe a $50/20c too!

noodled through a small baggy ($10.00) of 20 cents today, not much of interest. 8 2007 20 cent, 5 thick 7, 3 thin 7. 1 VF 1970, 1 NSW fed in VF. No rim Cuds, no large heads.

I've just gone through $1000 of $1 coins. I found and kept:
  • 1 x 1994 Rabbit - This is a variety I have not seen before. It's as if a straight line was drawn from the tip of the ear to the roo's back. A small triangle.
  • 2 x 1998 Rabbits
  • 2002 Face Doubling
  • 1997 wing tip ' Cud' where the tip of the wing joins the rim
  • 4 x 1994 '1' Cuds (a Cud under the downward slope of the 11
  • 2 x 1995 One Cuds
  • 2 x 2006 Goatees
  • 1 x 2006 'Wannabee' goatee, more like a hairy chin. Perhaps the first stage of a goatee
  • 1 x Unc 2005
  • 1 x Bowling token (yes Armaguard stuffed up on this one. Its actually silver and stood out like a sore thumb
  • 3 x 2006 Unc
  • 1 x 2002 Check Cud
  • 1 x 2005 die filled fist on the Dancing Man
  • 1 x 1984 Cuds on the back of the 2nd roo. May be the precursor to the 1984 Spew Roo

No on to the 20s, 10s and 5s....stay tuned.

That's a pretty good haul, Yass. By the way, what did you find in the last item I posted to you? Anything different?

Jeff & Zaggy also have done well!

I haven't written my latest lot down, will do so later.

The numbers I showed are the ones I kept. I found more of these but very poor condition -not worth keeping, as these are not real hard years to find.

Last couple of days, from change, 4 2007 50 cent (my first ones), 2 NSW fed $0.20, 1 VIC fed $0.20, 1 SA fed $0.20, 1 NT fed $0.20, 1 NFI fed $0.20, 3 Bradman $0.20, and 2 2003 Volunteer $0.20 (All $0.20 from same customer and in good nick, must have got desperate).
Of possible interest on one of the 2007 50 cent, Has doubling on the detail lower half reverse. Have noticed this on other years, 2006 50 cent in particular.
Here's a pic of the 2007 50 cent.
