i came across this cent and thought it was old or fake but its just a darkly toned cent I think. I need to weigh it but feels underweight and just weird in your hand. The first photo shows how dark it is really. the other photos show what it looks like with too much light hah. its almost as the cent is missing a coating? idk what do you all think?

I go through thousands of cents a week--not uncommon at all in my experience. Really interesting how shield cents tone/darken quickly.
