A few months ago I bought a 1 cent graded MS-65 by ICCS for 10$. At the time I thought it was a fair price. Today I took a look at it and it has a strong hanging 8.This is not mentioned in the comment section of holder.
Question 1: Is it unsual for ICCS not to mention the hanging 8?
Question 2: What premium does this bring to this coin, Coins and Canada has a hanging 8 MS-65 listed for 70$, is this accurate?
Thanks Edited by RichieD613 10/03/2015 6:39 pm

1. You need to pay for the ICCS designation, so most don't have them (not even certain they'll still do it). 2. Not accurate, but would likely bring some sort of premium.

Hi Pennyman, I've already consulted coinsandcanada, the link you sent does not have a listed price for a MS-65.

I know MS65 hanging 8 is not listed but I did say estimate. MS65s are selling for around 16-17 bucks take it from there, go ahead add 20 bucks for the 8. There is no set price anywhere its worth whatever somebody wants to pay.

I would say pennyman is about right.... $35-40 to the right buyer, it is a niche market and not everyone buys varieties.
