If it bothers YOU,do what makes you happy. Personally if its value is just for its PM content,no I would not send it back. Gold is gold ,unless of course its worth more then its weight.

as well. When I order silver bullion (can't afford the gold) coins I do not expect them to look like proofs and put up with bumps, bruises and milk spots. BUT if it really bothers you ask for an exchange.

Thanks, I guess I just needed some reassurance. I will be keeping it.

Yeah, unless You're buying graded bullion, I'd just keep it. It may be harder to sell on ebay, but if You sell Your gold to a bullion dealer just keep it. they don't care as long as it's real.

it is just bullion, and nothing more, you are over thinking it here.

When you spend that much, most want a nice looking coin.
But as others have said, it is a bullion coin.
The decision is up to you, you should b e happy with it.
I do see a lot of gold maple leaf coins. Being .9999 fine, these coins seem to get hits pretty easy.
To me, they are coins that should be in air-tites.

Thanks again for the replies.
You all make good points. To be honest, I'm a little embarrassed for even bringing the subject up. Silverwolf is right. I was totally over thinking it! I took a look at the coin today and I am totally fine with the condition. Plus I got a decent deal.
