Not sure where to post this, so I'm posting it here.
What exactly are ebay bucks? I know that it has something to do with the amount you purchase and you get a fraction of that amount back. Is there a catch? If not, how do I sign up?

I don't believe there is a catch. You should find a link on ebay to explain how to sign up. I just got my coupon, used it immediately buying mint sets to fill in my collections. It pays quarterly I believe. If you sign up now, you will be starting at the beginning of this quarter. My total was for about $8, better than nothing!

The only catch is that you have to sign up, like previous poster said, which is easy.

Bullion purchases don't qualify for ebay Bucks, but all other coin purchases do.

Yeah there are a few exceptions, like bullion, ebay gift cards (other gift cards will give ebay bucks though), real estate, auto stuff I think are all of them. Basically like cash back that is redeemed every quarter of the year.

It is worth signing up for. I had put it off then finally signed up 6 months ago.

The other neat thing is they send you special promotions that usually last 2 days or so where you can double your ebay bucks on purchases. The closer you get to the end of the quarter ( ebay buck are earned in 3 month cycles), they send out more promotions.

Just had one recently to get 5x on purchases over $50. Does not include bullion as someone already stated. The norm is 2% back on purchases, sometimes up to 10%, depends on the promotion.

I got a free $9 coupon a few days ago. free is free!

They are based on your purchases so they do work with the app or website purchases. You do need at least $5 accumulated per quarter or you lose what is accumulated. At the end of the quarter you get a certificate and have about a month to redeem it. I recently did a big upgrade of my Lincoln Memorial set, mostly funded by ebay bucks.
