Hi,if you read the post I mentioned I bought it and these are the only pictures I have to go on and will put up pictures when it arrives,if it gets here and it's silver this thread is done but I'll still put up a final post,all I can say is the fella swears it's magnetic,for a lousy $20 bucks,good enough for me to take a shot at it.

I'm curious to see the edge. Maybe it's a spy coin. It doesn't seem likely though. Still - if it really is magnetic ...it's going to be fun to follow this thread.

My prediction, either a counterfeit, or a quarter plated with nickel making it SLIGHTLY magnetic.
