Hello,

I'm unsure of exactly what types of responses are solicited here since I'm pretty sure the coin designs are already decided upon.

This entire Ellis Island scenario is very interesting to me personally since this is where my grandparents first landed at via a large ship after starting at Naples, Italy in the very early 20th century.

If it had been up to me, a coin depicting the meeting of one of the mighty sea vessels side-by-side with the port of New York would have been an appropriate design for consideration. Without the presence of these ships there would not have been any immigrants landing at Ellis Island.

For what it's worth this iron-hull ship called the SS Werra was 433.1 ft in length, 45.9 ft in breadth and had a gross weight of 4,817 tons.

She had two funnels, four masts, a single screw and traveled at a speed of 16 knots. This ship could accommodate 125 first-class, 130 second-class and 1,000 third-class passengers.

I would say 7 or 8. Real tired of "real" people on circulating coinage. Save that for special collector-only commemoratives. and 4-6, I have no idea what that even is.

About to watch the other four 2017 design videos listed there, but can't give much hope for them either since I haven't seen an ATB or State Quarter design that I like. I just HAVE to collect them to finish my set. Sort of makes me wish I died before 1999 or wasn't born until 2022 just to skip all these stupid things!

I agree. 4~8 would have been nice, but we get 1 with a smattering of 3 (they added the flag).
