NumisMedia has it at $198 in G4. With the damage I would not call it anywhere near G4.

That's my thinking as well.

It's just a curiosity piece, with no numismatic value.

Not to say it isn't interesting, and an almost impossible longshot!

Agreed.
It's no longer a coin.
It's now a small piece of silver jewelry.

its a love token
its monetary value strictly resides within what someone would pay for it. Being a key date could have some influence for the dedicated love token collector but again, value lies in the eye of the prospective beholder.

I'd put it in an album just to say I have one. $12 spent with no regrets.

I would have bought it no problem at 12. I'm not a lt collector per se but I'm an 81 geek and wear a $1 gold piece civil war love token , I don't think I'd go over say $30 though

I would have bid on that to the $20 to $25 range ...

I have a friend that collects love tokens ....
would be fun to see how much he would
want it.

Or as posted ... Use it to fill a empty hole

Agreed. It is a hole filler, no doubt. Just not a $200 hole filler. It might be worth $20 though, again, just to fill an otherwise expensive hole. At least the damage is artistic and not something like road rash.

I have a problem betting on anything with pictures that fuzzy. You are either hiding something or you are not a very good seller. Either way I back off.
