Please see photos below. If you think the coin is real, please provide a grade. If you think the coin is fake, no grade necessary. I will reveal it's true identification tomorrow and how I happened to become the owner.

Top leaf buffed or something, maybe tooled. It shouldn't show hardly any wear to the vein patterns in approximately XF range. The date looks ok to me but the pups are too hard for me to see. nlp

I'd say EF-40, but clean.

You guys are good in calling the coin real as from the photos it is hard to tell. The coin is a VAM 1 with the straight S mint mark. The coin does have a no problem grade. If anyone wants to guess the grade, I will post the grade later tonight. Below are some photos of the rabbit ears and date with the raised 3 and diagonal polishing line in the "T".

I'd be at VF30/35, just a bit too much wear to make XF, I'd say. This is actually fairly typical of the condition in which these are discovered.

VF details cleaned. I don't care if the TPG said it wasn't a details coin, that obverse was definitely cleaned lol.

I do not know the history on the coin, but I would not be surprised if the coin was sent into NGC for conservation.
The coin appears not to be original. If a coin has been dipped in Acetone or conserved, where is the line on what coins get a problem free label and what coin get the details cleaned tag?
