I like the top coin better. Might make vf20 and I believe is the ANACS coin
bottom coin is more like F-15 ish. PCGS?
Both keys but coin 1 is better for detail and looks.IMHO

Coin 1 looks like the better coin to me!

I would grade coin #1 VF Details Cleaned, I like this coin the best because it has more detail. The only thing I do not like is the straight line dark spot on the obverse. This coin appears to be the cleaned coin as there are some hair lines on the reverse and the area around the word dollar appears to have been cleaned.
Coin #2 F15 This coin is losing details in the hair and cotton balls and on the left wing. It also has some rim dings.

They're both heavily cleaned but if I had to choose one it would be #1.
Oh, they're slabbed... I can maybe see coin 1 in a good slab as it could be interpreted as circulation in hand but coin 2 has to be in a details slab

Coin 1. Are the surfaces polished or cleaned?

The reason I ask this question is I bought one raw, which is the one in the anacs holder, the second was a gift. This is more of a lesson comparing grading companies. One of the coins graded problem free, the other had a cleaned designation. My gut tells me the one that graded problem free if sent to the other TPG it would come back cleaned. Will reveal the actual grades tomorrow.

#1 looks problem free to me that's what I'd go with. #2 looked cleaned

F15 details cleaned, VG10, but both coins are cleaned. Lower coin has nasty rim bumps, ANACS straight grade.

The top coin is in an ANACS slab, the bottom PCGS. The anacs coin just came back from a group I sent off. I don't disagree with the grade but feel the the PCGS coin is "more" cleaned so to speak. it has bright rim toning that doesn't really show up in the pictures indicative of being cleaned and retoning in an album. Anyway here are the grades. Again buy the coin not the holder. If we look at completed ebay sales the PCGS coin would probably bring more money than the ANACS. Coin #1 Coin #2

I would crack out the ANACS one and send it to PCGS cause I don't think the VF20 one was cleaned....I think the F12 one is cleaned.
