I've had this dime for at least 35 years. To me it looks like it was struck through a heavy fabric. Other's have told me it looks like it was put on a hot screen. Not entirely sure how that would happen, so I'm sticking with strike through. Your thoughts? Should I get it certified?

Just looks like a pattern of foreign material on the coin, definitely not a strike through cloth.

Stained with a fabric pattern but not struck through fabric, the details would be significantly altered if that were the case.
