How-Much-Is-This-Coin-Worth?
Also I need a second opinion on what year this may be. It looks like either a 1973, 1975 or 1978.

The pictured cent has serious post mint damage ( PMD) and is only worth face value.

I believe the date is 1971-S.

The coin is seriously damaged and very common. Unfortunately, it is only worth 1 cent. Throw it back into circulation.

to the forum! Although it is not an error, it does contain nearly Two Cents worth of copper. However, you aren't allowed to melt it down, so that's of no use.

Not to worry - you should be able to find high grade specimens in change or CRH (coin roll hunting). Good luck!
