Note how the last T in TRUST has a weak upper with no apparent scratch. Fairly significant amount of material comprising this area in question. Report this Post to the Staff

flyank Valued Member United States 77 Posts	Posted 10/10/2015 10:15 pm Coop - I wondered the same thing...but the fact that there is apparent "daylight" between the "chip" and the throat device led me to think otherwise. Would this be an unusual placement for a chip since there seems to be "separation"? Thanks as always! Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 10/10/2015 10:20 pm The chip is still on the field when it struck your coin. A few more strikes and it might reach the neck. Here is an overlay of a dime during a clash. Possibly the clash might have made that chip start because the flame is in that area.
