I received a 1939 nickel in my change today. pretty stoked about it. There are many like it but this one is mine. It is not in the greatest condition. It came out of an automated change dispenser at the Wawa, which in and of itself is amazing since I often get three dimes instead of a quarter and a nickel from them. Pictures later maybe if I can get my phone to take pictures again.

Too many pictures in the phone's memory? May have to do some cleaning to snap some new ones.

Hope it is the DDR!

Man! I am glad I posted this thread because I forgot all about the nickel. it would have sat in my car until I emptied my special change holder (the door pull handle). Here are pictures. I cleared some space from my phone this week. I don't see any doubling.

Congratulations! I know I was excited when I found a 1939-S in change a few years ago. It was probably about XF.
