I agree, and the real ethical problem is that the seller doesn't mention it's a fake in the title, thus misleading potential bidders into opening the auction page.

The more these circulate the more you have to be carefull buying in any forum. I carry a magnet even at coin shows now.

The seller is unethical as the fake coins will most likely be sold again as genuine coins. I would have no problem if the seller scratched in the word "copy" onto the coin. These need to come down from being sold.

Unethical? He also offers an 1844-CC Liberty Seated dollar for sale. a "counterfeit" of a coin that never existed.
