I figured this deserved a separated post from my other because it's so odd; though it might not be for all I know ha ha.

The only thing I know about Steel Strong is that they made coin wrappers and I may be wrong about that.

This Walking Liberty is stamped with the "Steel Strong" logo on the back and stamped with several strange marks on the front and has glue residue.

What do you all think?

If it has residue, their wrappers must not be that good.

Haha Osprey; I know right? Hardly any of this collection that I'm going through is really..protected in any way but this one had the most damage.

Imthealphaomega; yea that's what I was thinking. I wasn't sure if the stamp had any meaning at all to the coin community. All I could find was the place that made coin wraps and all. I think it's kind of neat looking though so I might hold onto it as a novelty item. Thanks for the input!

chilo - check out this reference. It may just be a campaign slogan to promote building with steel, rather than wood:

That's a really interesting find that I'm going to look into more.

I did find this https://www.etsy.com/listing/784462...oin-wrappers note the stamp is the exact same logo as the one on the coin. I'm wanting to look more into this steel strong brand to see if this coin means anything to anyone.

These old coin wrappers are selling for decent prices but I don't know how much their mark is worth if anything at all.
