Hi. Do you think this quarter would sell if I were to list it on ebay? Or too banged up? Obverse looks unusual to me too but most likely PMD right? Thanks!

Looks like it may be too damaged to make much profit. (Unless you spin the story how it was intentionally minted with the gouges to commemorate the harsh circumstances in Valley Forge.)

Does not appear to be a doubled die to me. Looks more like machine damage or possibly Die Deterioration. It looks flat and shelf like, and there is no notching, so I'm pretty sure it's MD, and not a true doubled die.

yes, also with md, the doubled portion is flat, with a true DDO, it will be the same height and depth as the normal devices
