For sure, and if you don't already have spare flips to put it back in after you can pick them up pretty cheap on ebay!

Well aside from the patina (which wont affect the grade) I think it's a strong VF, possibly NEF. Do you think it's been cleaned in the past? It looks like it might but pictures are always deceptive and I think it's just the light giving that effect maybe. Here's a pic with both side by side, and the right way up haha.

Probably VF and there is something going on with the reverse and the obverse to a lesser degree such as a previous clean or some sort of staining

@stevo. I think it's the lighting. From above looking normally it's a nice darkish chocolate brown.

1930 halfpennies are generally found in better grade & not too hard to find with 8 pearls. Based on the pics it looks gVF and is a nice collectable coin. Nothing special though.
