Just happened upon this topic so thought I would drop in and read along, besides I was curious about the "sudden" interest in Canadian small cents. At a coin show a few months ago a dealer was offering 2cents U.S. for 1 Canadian cent. I asked about dates and he sort of hesitated then said "earlier ones, probably 2 1/2 or 3 cents each. I was tempted but decided to just hang onto them until I could figure why the premium? It just didn't make sense that he would give me 2USD for 1 Canadian.
