Wow! I withdrew this customer roll from my branch today. I have almost two boxes of rolls that have been almost 100 percent copper from this same source. Most have been 70's coins. This was in a different type of roll and was all 64d's (well I am assuming the clipped one is a 64d as well) This is the first clipped planchet error I have found . I thought there was supposed to be weakness on the opposite side of the coin to offset the missing material though? Is this a genuine error?

I don't see the Blakesley Effect as indicated. I'm not real sure it's a true clip. Let's see what the other guys say.

The Blakesley Effect is not always visible on larger clips.

If you can identify some solid die markers on the clipped coin, you might be able to find a second complete coin (with the same die markers) out of the remaining 49 coins. Might be kinda cool to have some 'proof' to actually identify the date on the coin!

What are some areas I could look for die markers? And as for the blakley effect I have a nickle with a Cud that shows the effect so that was my main concern with this coin.

The ends of the clipped areas look correct. But a close up of the devices next to the clip would be helpful. They should fade there.

As for die markers, I would think to look closely under a loupe (10x) or microscope for polish lines... see if there are any die chips... etc.
I find that finding polish lines around the date and words/letters (on both sides) makes it easier to identify on another coins, since you can mainly focus on those areas when going through several coins.
