Gimmicky, but fun! And I'm sure they're letting these guys go for just slightly over spot.

I saw today in Ontario Canada. A guy dressed as doc wearing a wig driving a Delorian. I did get a pic of the rear of the car, not sure how to upload

Yep...but I'm going to have to order the Delorian. And yes, pre-orders are "slightly" above spot. Delivery late November / early December.

Me either but I did so I blamed it on having a son that would like.
Then it was pretty easy to talk myself into the BIN button
I am not parting with over $200 for the hover board tho.
I do have my limits after all.....

I liked the movie and its hard to pass on this but yea, I most likely will not even bother to follow prices on the secondary market and tho its a gimmick I gotta tell you this packaging with the car is very slick! I do like it a ton.

@yup.... I do like it a ton as well. The packaging is awesome. Time will tell for sure. So far I am resisting the urge but it was indeed a great movie for sure! I am so trying to resist and keeping a "limit to the gimmick" in the Coin World which is hard to do sometimes.

well,,, I was curious,, the gold coin already tanking in the secondary market...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/30181339020...RK:MEBIDX:IT

I might, if prices dip hard enough... get one of the silver ones, tying in the car is SLICK and I love the blue lights lol... hey I cannot blame the mints for marketing coins in different tie ins or ways...

Edit- ok so I decided to look at the silver coins. I gotta say, they are ABOVE the initial mint price so far... I will be watching for many months to see if it stays above it or not...

So as always, curiosity in terms of prices got the best of me.

Expressed in USD, this set was before shipping is included costs 89.47 from the Perth Mint.

Looks like prices are rising slightly in the secondary market - 301832085946

I have to admit, the blue lights are pretty cool lol Is the car run on batteries that light up the car?
