looks like you inherited some pretty nice coins to me. The 2 Peace dollars are both sought after key dates and the 1893 Morgan is a good year as well. The sitting liberty dollar looks nice as well. I am not experienced at grading dollar coins but here are my guesses. 1871 dollar looks about xf to me. 1893 looks about xf also. 1921 looks F to VF and 1928 looks xf to AU to me. Lincoln half look UNC. You can look up all these coins in numismedia price guides. This will give you a full retail slabbed price. Raw coins would be worth less than those prices. Hope this helps.

to CCF. You should check first to see if they are real or fake. Use a magnet to see if they are silver.

simcha. Do you have an actual coin shop near enough to you to go by there?
Sometimes pawn shops are only interested in the value of the metal, not always the best with actual coin values.

The 1871 dollar should have In God We Trust on the reverse, and denticles don't look right.

Look at the reverse and compare yours to this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/281263...n=ps&lpid=82

Sorry to say but the 1871 dollar is most definitely not genuine and probably not silver either, the reverse is missing a major design detail(IGWT ribbon). I have never been to a pawnshop that was staffed by actual numismatic experts, they are usually pretty clueless about anything beyond precious metal content. Since you have at least one obvious fake, I would recommend weighing all of the coins before going any further to eliminate any other potential fakes.

1893 - XF 45
1921 - XF 45 Difficult coin to grade from photo as hard to tell wear because of the soft strike that was notorious for the 1921 coin. The eagle feathers on the reverse look like wear verses strike.
1928 - This coin has some nice luster AU55 because the coin is showing some circulation rub, but the coin could go as high as AU58. I would not sell this coin for less than $250. If the coin graded AU 58, it would sell for around $400.

21 peace - cast forgery (rims are not correct, dead giveaway)
28 peace - looks authentic
chinese coin - no idea.
morgan - almost certainly a forgery, reverse legends and motto do not look correct.
Seated dollar - poorly cast forgery
illinois commemorative - highly suspect

All in all I'd say you inherited a real 1928 Peace dollar and several Chinese forgeries, and one that I have no expertise on (Chinese coin.)

I am confident the 1876 Trade dollar is a fake. The eagle looks piecemealed together-there's voids where parts should seemelessly fit together such as the head. Your 1928 looks like a genuine silver coin to me. Hopefully, not an altered date though.
