Rasmussen sales had some AWESOME copper. All high grade. Most way more expensive than that coin which is on the low end of the collection.

My most expensive single classic coin purchase (not counting the time I filled the entire gold page of my 7070 Album at one go) would most definitely be this one: I picked it up at a local coin show earlier this year for around $2400. Huge expense for me, but I couldn't pass it up. Higher graded examples are out of my budget (probably forever), and lower grade examples I've seen just didn't have much eye appeal. Plus, you just don't see these very often, period. No regrets on my end! At next year's show, I'm hoping to score either a proof 20 Cent Piece or a proof Seated Liberty dollar. Again, it'll be a matter of finding one with enough eye appeal that I can actually afford.

This was my most expensive US coin purchase. The pictures are really terrible, sorry about that.

Dime, quarter, half, or dollar? My money is on it being a quarter. Still nice and better than my fake anyday.

Oh, you are right TypeCoin971793, was not clear on the denomination - it is a dime, but I do wish it were a quarter or half dollar 1796!
