So whats your take on this? My guess is that its a first day issue,but I'm not sure. What sort of finish is on it? Is it a regular business strike. When I take it out of the outer plastic sleeve, it is still contained within a thin plastic film within the envelope. It looks spotless!!

Not sure if it's of help but the stamp was released on the 11th of June 1974.
I don't know the date the coin was released but it has a Winnipeg Manitoba
cancelation dated Aug 7th 1974 on the envelope my guess is that's where it was minted.

thats to 2nd one I seen. I dont think the mint had a frist back then. I beleave its from the post office one of there frist offering that they put together.

its going to be the same as what the mint offered it the d.dollar sets, back in the good old days before the post office would offer special things like that, today you see some coins offered but have stamps with them, here's a good one - Baby Burrowing Owl - 2015 $20 Pure Silver Coin & Stamp Set
