I was trying to find a price for my 1973 large bust SP-65 . Coin news doesn't list it and Charlton only lists SP-66

My experience in watching specimens cross action blocks is they bring whatever two people are willing to bid the price up to. Rarely do I ever see pre-auction estimates be too close to the hammer price. I've seen plenty that fall well short of the estimates, and see just as many get 2-3x an auction estimate. Seems there is a pretty broad range for any given day. Sorry, not much help in this post :(

Coinsandcanada.com pegs 1973 LB SP-65 @ $280. Of course, that's merely an estimate.

Those estimates certainly match this one.
