Does anyone know of an online site that has a current list of all F.A.O coins issued?
I'm flipping through my Krause catalog and manually making a list but it's a tedious task.
Thanks, Ken

If you go to Numismaster and search the world FAO you get 553 hits. I know this is not comprehensive since Krause has not cataloged several FAO coins and some FAO coins are not recognized by the FAO.

FAO coins are coins commemorating the special events of the organisation. I can suggest one other way to make your own list. You can use (131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed , there's a section to seacrh by theme, subject. http://www.(131231) Not Allowed - Auto-Removed /subjects.html The owner of the webpage hasn't actually seperated the subjects, but listed all coins on a single page. If you use Ctrl+F or F3 Search on thet page you can locate every FAO coin he has. A bit time consuming, but I think this is much faster than going through the actual Krause catalogue.

Thanks RenaL,
I did google the topic and had the last link but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. But the World Goin Gallery link was exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks

On the fao-coins.info go to FAO albums, they have a list by date with all the KM nNumbers and country names etc
That may be a faster solution

That was my first try but the albums were missing coins and stopped at the mid 80's. That's when I ended up opening the old Krause book but snowman pointed out the shortcomings there also.
Now I'm using all 3 references and I'll refine it from there. Luckily, I'm very good with text sorting in excel so it's not that difficult to use features like copy, paste, text to columns, and concatenate.

Hope you can come up with a complete list. When you search the official FAO page https://www.fao.org for the word coin, it gets a https://coin.fao.org that asks for a username and a p/w. I have no idea how one gets a username, but you may try to dig deeper. Once you are done with the list would you consider to share it on the net?

I am currently responsible for the FAO coin programme at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. (At least for the next week as I am about to retire).
I have a complete list of FAO coins issued on CD Rom since at one time we were going to open an online shop. However this did not materialize. The list is in the form of small GIF pictures (65 bytes)of each of the coins.
If somebody can tell me how to upload these in bulk (there are about 700 coins) I will be happy to do so.
Most of the earlier coins are no longer in stock but quuite a number of the later issues are available in retail and wholesale quantities.

Renal The site that you looked at https://coin.fao.org is an FAO COuntry INformation system site and has nothing to do with coins

Harold, Wow, that's impressive! I've already downloaded the files and dropped the filenames into a text list. Hopefully I will parse out the text into a usable list when I have some down time and add the KM#s. You just cut my work way down and to get images to boot is sweetness! quote: At least for the next week as I am about to retire
