Just won this on ebay! Had to pay slightly more than I wanted, but I figured it is rare to even see these on ebay anymore I couldn't pass it up! It covers years 1868 Meiji to 1964 Showa eras. Now filling it will be fun since I will have to learn tons before even making a single purchase. It looks to be pretty good condition the seller states may not even be used. We will see when it gets here! :D

Congrats! I've been hunting for one of those for a while. The type sets of all countries are fun, Japan has alot of history to learn!

Thanks! My dad got a few coins from Japan that are a bit more modern, but still may be able to fill a hole or two. :D

Looks like it is in pretty good shape, considering how old these
albums are.

Congrats

Oh, that is going to be fun (enjoyable, not sarcasm) to fill!

Just completed my U.S. Type set. After 4 years in Japan and Okinawa I might have to see if I can get one of those myself!

Yeah hopefully and probably it will be cheaper to fill then the US type album, but seeing the prices of those early dragon yen coins they are up there with Seated dollars from the few I have seen!
