The grades were all over the place with this one, so I took better pics and also gave it a light acetone touch up. How we looking now?

Looks AU-53 to me

You probably should have added these pictures to your other thread rather than make a new one Papadoc.

IMHO Posting in my old thread would work for anyone who had commented previously but would probably not get as many views from anyone that didn't catch the original thread. I like to give everyone an opportunity to offer their opinions. Also if I had broken any rules I'm sure my thread would be moved by an admin.

Much better photos although it throws the color off. Your other photos showed a nice chocolate brown coin. I'd be at AU-55 on this one now.

I noticed that. I used the same light source but it was closer. I'm not sure if ours possible if the acetone could chang the color like that, but I suppose anything is possible. I liked the chocolate brown color better myself as well.

Acetone should not change the color. Is the color now different on the coin in hand?

I do not believe there was a change in color. It makes sense that bringing the light in closer would change the look. I've been sliding back and forth between the photos since your last post. It's now sealed in a 2X2. I'm too afraid to mess with it anymore.
