Are they selling it as a quarter or a silver round?

They were selling it as a "ONE DOLAR SILVER COIN". Yes, with a single L, all caps. I've heard someone trying to pronounce it like that once, sounded like "Doo-lar".

Amazingly the seller had no recent negatives nor low rating. My guess is that the seller isn't aware that it's fake.

Here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.tradera.com/item/220208/...-silver-mynt

Yeah, that's a common one here. Been posted here probably 25 or 30 times. If they're not worn, you can read "facsimile" below the eagle.

Are they just base metal? I gotta say I prefer their version's wig better than our George's current spaghetti hair.

Those old Swedish jokes suddenly seem more relevant to me.

Olly: (calls 911) "Hello, my wife just died. You come get her ..."

911 Operator: "What's your address, sir?"

Olly: "93 Sacagawea Street"

911 Operator: "Can you spell that, please?"

Olly: (long silence) ... "I tell you what. I drop her off on Oak Street and you pick her up dere."

The spaghetti hair ended in 2010.

Okay, then call it quinoa linguine. It's still not the silver sculpture of the old days And don't get me going on all of the never-ending roller coaster of these reverses!

Okay, I'll shut up now before I really offend more quarter collectors.

True. While the ATB brought back the original 1932 rendition of Washington, it kept the 21st century low profile.

The result is what most would call a weak strike compared to the years that preceded it.
