paddy murphy Valued Member United States 401 Posts	Posted 10/30/2015 12:58 pm I realize there is little actual value in this exercise unless I find something with help from my new CherryPickers Guide but I'm sure some of you might find the numbers interesting. Below is a snapshot of my "extra" wheat cents from 1909 to 1919. Observations: No woodies No double die 1917's only 1 1915 cent? Only AU was a brown VDB As expected there were very few mint marked coins, none prior to 1915 Other than the VDB, best specimens are a few 17, 18 & 19 close to EF. paddy murphy Valued Member United States 401 Posts	Posted 10/30/2015 2:01 pm I'm an actuary, numbers are my life, so it's inevitable that I'll eventually explore what I have verses what was expected. The main problem with that is the distribution of coins found "in the wild" by mintmark is very much location biased. I would have loved to have grown up on the west coast with access to S mint coins. Until then it's just figuring out what I have and see if I can cherrypick a variety or two...
