I have a 2015 P dime with oak leaf around the nose, behind the ear and United States of America under Liberty. I took it to a dealer and he told me it looked like a greased filled die. He was also quick to tell me he was only interested in the 1955 and 1972 doubled die Lincoln's. He offered to give me 25 cents for my dime. I told him I was not interested in selling it unless it was a 1970 US quarter stamped over the 1941 Canadian coin.
It was my first experience with a local dealer and surely my last with this guy. He was really a jerk and I didn't get any answers to my questions.
Is die clash the terminology for overlay? Are they different? Is it an error?
Is it worth more than 25 cents lol?
