Last one before I give up for the night. Part of me thinks MD as I am having no luck finding markers other then the rpm.

I dont see it even though it will be hard to see on a circulated coin. What I think you are seeing is MD. But really not sure . I would try to see if I can match it up with the RPM get a straight down picture and try an overlay see if the mintmark fits

The mint mark looks like a rotated RPM.

That is not it. The mint mark is a rotated RPM on the coppercoins coin. It is also a doubled die obverse. But your coin was not from that die. That is a different die. Yours has a different MM location, different rotated RPM and no DDO.

looks like it might be 1960D-1MM-165
