I hate loose coins and taped coins too! I have never left negative feedback over it, but it is annoying. I probably should have.
Even though I have never left negative feedback and have been an ebay member since 2001 (if I recall correctly), I am tempted to leave neutral feedback (never left that either) for the first time ever.
Got a coin for very good value in my opinion in an auction. Seller went to post office and they claimed my address is not valid. That does happen from time to time, but only when people actually physically go to the post office, never happens when they use online USPS or through ebay. They contacted me and I provided the seller with an alternate address (which is also populated address in ebay, I just did not select it). Seller did not respond to that email and just simply refunded my money. When I contacted them they said they do not send to alternate addresses sent via message.
Maybe the guy has been ripped off before, I am trying to give benefit of the doubt-- but no seller that the post office gave grief to has ever not shipped it to alternate. He can see from my decade and a half and positive reviews that I am not some fly by nighter. Anyway, part of me feels that he may have used the opportunity for the purpose of just getting out of an auction in which he did not like the results.
So, in response to your post-- cancelling auctions that sold for less than the seller expected is also a bad thing, along with the ones you mention.
