I have always wanted to purchase a 1907 $5 Woodchopper and I finally pulled the trigger. Definitely one of my favorite bills. Contemplated getting a lower grade in the past but I am happy I waited for this one! What're some of your "dream" paper currency purchases? (Note: of course my scanner broke after taking the front scan of this bill )

I just got one of those too ^^ yours is probably slightly better than mine but I was happy to have a clean one, no tears, no pinholes and just a couple of slight fold lines. I agree it is a super type.
There are two types that answer your question... the first is a note that though expensive is a possibility to obtain one day. This is the $10 bison note. The second is a note that although I admire I definitely will never own, it is simple too much money to have tied up to one piece... it is the $1000 eagle note of 1918.

One day I will have an 1899 $5 Indian Chief note. I am just still waiting for the right example to come around when I have the right amount of cash in my pocket.

A couple of completed goals pictured below. I'm still looking for a 1923 $10 "Pokerchip" note, 1891 $20 "Manning" silver certificate, and a 1905 $20 Technicolor gold certificate. A very rough example, but I got one. Got this for $50 over face. Goal completed cheap! AND finally this one. Very hard note to get, but since I don't have several thousand at my disposal, this one will suffice.

The optimist in me would love to own a $100,000 gold certificate but the realist would settle for a $5 Indian Chief note

Nice tombstone wheatback. I've been looking for a nice one recently, and every person I ask usually just kind of laughs and says good luck. It's hard to believe how tough some of these older notes in any grade can be to find.
I've passed on a couple of lower grade Technicolor notes, just for the simple fact that with all the color in the note you really need a nice example to see the real beauty of the note. I have never even seen a pokerchip being offered for sale locally, but definitely on my want list.
Coinfrog yes it is the hoard picture again. The guy I bought those from actually called me last night and said he needs to get some cash for a project and he pulled out more notes and coins for me to come and take a look at. The coins are big dollar, 1892 PROOF Columbian expo half for example, So I can only imagine what notes he may pull out.

those educational notes are awesome, it would be cool if modern currency would use some of those classical style scenes.
